Artist's Description
Shot on the night of the appearance of the river dragon, the "Payanaak", which manifests itself by shooting silent balls of fire in the sky from under the Mekong river. This only happens on the night of the full moon in October. Scientists do not yet have found an explanation for the origins of the fire-balls. Locals have shown me pictures of the beast in the river, and I myself have seen three fire-balls emerging from the river on this night!
